in case you need information about how you can use the clock you can go there and uh yeah
also i have to tell u i modified the clock slightly by re-exporting it and adding clock hands that animate and some text which cites the origin of this image, i am wasting PRECIOUS time in this jam writing this out btw so hopefully someone reads this and finds it even a little bit funny lol
this might be the worst gdscript ever written and worst project organization of all time but if i finish a project before the code rots is it even bad code? yes, yes it is.
this was kinda inspired by how the world shift over time in outer wilds, except on a smaller scale
as your reward for reading this far, heres some motivation to structure your code better then i did
- TimeManager is an object that does literally EVERYTHING, but manage the flow of time and what platforms collapse over time
- TimeManager.frfr_ong_destroy += TimeManager.mark_destroy is a real line of code i had to write
- the time managers time variable which is the only time related thing about it has a getter where sometimes time = 2 when it is equal to 6 dont worry about it
- all of the animated segments are their own seperate scenes, requiring me to update both when i make a map change (somebody kill me) because i was a bit lazy earlier today
- theres an exported bool checkmark on each of the falling platforms called "bodge", what does it do? im too embarassed to admit
- i made a scripts and scenes folder and all the scripts are in the scenes folder
- decompile this game
